National booking sites put most photo booth rentals somewhere between about $400 and $1,000, depending on the booth type, how many hours you book and the add-ons. Premium experiences, such as glam portrait booths and 360 video booths, and longer mountain events often sit at the higher end or above it.
What drives the price
- Booth type. A digital-only sharing station usually costs less than a booth with studio lighting and on-site prints. 360 video booths need more equipment and staffing.
- Hours. Most packages run two to four hours. Every extra hour adds cost, but the cost per hour usually drops.
- Prints. Unlimited prints, custom layouts and guest albums all add value and cost.
- Travel. Mountain venues can mean long drives and passes. Ask whether travel is included for your town.

- Book the booth for the peak of the party, usually right after dinner through the dance floor, rather than the whole night.
- Choose a digital sharing station if guests care more about posting than printing.
